Last week was Obon! So there was no class on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
In Canada we don't have any day like Obon. So it's a very strange day for me.

In other words, I had three days off in a row.

family altar - 仏壇
Do you have a family altar in your house?

ancestors - 先祖
Do you know much about your ancestors?

relatives - 親戚
During Obon many relatives come visit.

pray - 祈る
During Obon we pray to our ancestors.

incense - 線香
During Obon we offer sticks of incenses to our ancestors.
