Some vocabulary we used:

selfish
indifferent
thoughtful
it's a hassle　　　　　　　面倒くさいけどやる
it's a pain　　　　　　　　面倒くさいけどやる
it's too much trouble　　 面倒くさくてやらない
I don't want to bother.　 面倒くさくてやらない　
It's just for show. ただ見せかけ

Some key expressions:

1. I like it when...
普通の好きと好きじゃないの文 "I like beer" or "I like playing tennis"は自分のことしか表現出来ない。もし他の人の行動のが好きか好きじゃないかって言いたいなら、"I like i when"もしくは"I don't like it when"を使う:

家族がありがとうって言うのは好き。
I like it when my family says "thank you"
　 旦那さんがビールを飲むのは好きじゃない。
I don't like it when my husband drinks beer.

How would you translate these sentences?
　　ボスがいない時が好き。

　　人が笑っている所が好き。


2. make you happy　
make me angry

For example
コヒーを飲むと幸せ Drinking coffee makes me happy.
彼女怒らせないで Don't make her angry

So, what makes you happy?

3. what you want
what he wants

普通の名詞として使って、「何を欲しいか」、「欲しいもの」という意味です。

君何が欲しいかわからない。
I don't know what you want.

How would you translate this?
人が何が欲しいことを考えるのは面倒くさいい。
