"The Secret to Improving Your English!"
That sounds like the title of a new book, doesn't it?
Well, its not.
However, it is similar to some advice that was given to me a long time ago by my Aikido teacher.
She said "The secret to improving at something is to walk through the door everyday."
What she meant was that people who become good at something, be it Aikido, Yoga, English, or Japanese, are the people that practice everyday and don`t give up.
Even on days when it is hard, the people who continue to walk through the door and come to class DO become better.
So, keep coming through that door!

Shopping at the Supermarket.
This week, we spent some time talking about shopping at the supermarket.
Here is some interesting information about supermarkets in the United States.
Many people live far away from the nearest supermarket. It is not uncommon for people to drive 30minutes to the nearest supermarket. Sometimes it takes longer, even up to an hour!
As a result, many people only go shopping once a week.
This is one of the reasons things are so "BIG" in America; what we buy has to last a whole week!
It makes things especially difficult if your forget something. For example, if you buy a box of cereal, but forget the milk....well, then you might have to eat cereal with water for the next week!
