A new year is approaching...any predictions?

This week we used fortune telling as ways to predict and talk about the future. We took turns asking questions and telling each others fortune.
Some important sentence structures:
1. (Time), what am I going to do?
2. (Time), will I get________?
Examples:
1. Next summer, what am I going to do?
You are going to go to another country for vacation?
2. Next year, will I get a salary raise?
No, sorry. Next year you will not get a salary raise.

Please tell me next year if your fortunes come true!

So many personalities!

Last week, we learned lots of vocabulary to describe peoples' appearance. This week we spent some time learning words to describe personality.
Here are some interesting words:
moody お天気屋、気まぐれな人間、気分屋
｛たいぼう｝ambitious きな望みを持っている、大望のある
｛きむずか｝grumpy 気難しい人

Do you know anyone with these personalities?
(By the way, if you don't know some of the above words, think of the movies, "Boys be ambitious", and "Grumpy old men"!).

Do you know what you want to do?

This week, we talked a lot about Future Tenses in all the classes. We have been using, "I'm going to~" to say 100% what we are going to do in the future (for example , this weekend). However, we have many ways to say what we plan to do in the future, when we aren't 100% sure.
I've decided to~
I intend to~
I'm planning to~
I'm thinking to~
I might~

Each of these have a different nuance, so please try it out in class!
