Making excuses.

This week we practiced how to make an excuse, when declining an invitation. Here is the phrase:
Oh, I just remembered, I have to.....

For example:
A: Hey Yuko, are you free on Saturday night?
B: Sure, what`s up?
A: Well, I am moving into a new apartment. Can you help me pack?
B: Oh, I`m sorry, I just remembered I have to work.

decline someone`s invitation （人）からの招待を断る［辞退する］
just remembered 今思い出した。

Hard to translate Japanese phrases.

It is really hard to translate some Japanese words into English, because the words don`t always have a 1:1 ratio.
However, here are some loose translations of common Japanese words.
itadakimasu 　...for what I am about to recieve
tadaima I`m home
okairi Welcome back
syoganai It can`t be helped.
kimochiwarui Creepy
